The Restaurants and Bars near Wharton Lock, Chester

There is a wonderful choice of bars, tea rooms and restaurants for you to enjoy during your stay in Chester. Some are a very short walk from Wharton Court, an easy way to enjoy your holiday in Chester:-

The Locus Restaurant, about 300 metres away, a lovely intimate restaurant for that special meal out and don't miss their midweek set price meals and their Jazz night.

The Lock Vaults is about 100 metres away across the canal on the other side of the locks. In fact this is the Pub that can be seen from the Wharton Lock Apartment balcony. This is an ideal pub to call into, for a bite of lunch or just a drink.

Old Harkers Bar, is about 400 metres along the canal path in the direction of Chester. This is a very handy watering hole after a tiring day out sightseeing or shopping. This is a real ale bar with a good selection of guest ales and ciders, they do a very nice Pimms as well! They serve home cooked food at both lunchtime and evening. No children allowed.
