Bangor-on-Dee Race Meeting near Chester

Bangor-on-Dee Racecourse, which is 25 minutes south of Chester, is a left-handed jumps racecourse set in glorious countryside and overlooked by the Welsh hills. It has a unique character, it is the only Racecourse in the country that doesn’t have a Grandstand, however the main grass viewing bank provides a natural amphitheatre to the racing action.

The Totesport Day Saturday, in October, is the busiest meeting of the year.
The November Meeting on a Wednesday features the Anne Duchess of Westminster's Memorial Steeplechase.
Christmas Meeting in December where you can celebrate Christmas with a day at the races.
The Christmas Party Meeting on the Saturday before Christmas is a great opportunity for the whole family to go racing over the festive season.
