'Quality Edge' features Wharton Lock

Have a look at VisitEnglands Winter 2010 issue of their 'Quality Edge' magazine and read the feature about the recent refurbishment of 4* Gold Wharton Lock Apartment. On page 46 of the magazine the article describes some of the changes and improvement made by us and shows before and after photographs of the new Granite kitchen!

In the article Sandra is quoted as saying “We aim to offer a luxury alternative to the hotels and guest houses in the city.” In April 2009 we became the first and only Gold graded self catering property in the City of Chester, an honour that has been awarded recently to us for the second time.

“The Gold award created extra interest in the apartment – we were featured in the Daily Mail and The Guardian, but we can’t be complacent,” Graham says. “Guests’ expectations increase and we hope the changes will satisfy or exceed them.”

Guests staying since the refurbishment have been very complimentary and this is reflected in the article comment of 'Guests particularly love the well-equipped kitchen, and Sandra feels that the new granite worktops have added the ‘wow’ factor. Visitors also enjoy all the latest technology thanks to
the iPod docks, Wi-Fi and flat screen TVs.'
