In November 2009, 4 Star Gold Wharton Lock Apartment under went a complete refurbishment adding extra features such as cosy 'Living Art' fire, granite kitchen, enhanced bathrooms .............etc

My 3rd stay and brilliant as always. The recent refurbishment has been done to the usual high standard. Thank you Sandra & Graham for excellent service. I will most certainly return next year and will recommend to all my friends.

What a find! This perfectly appointed apartment has been a dream. it has been far beyond our expectations with every convenience we could have wanted. It is so very comfortable with everything to hand. Thank you to the owners and the person who looks after the place. We can highly recommend the Harkers Arms for the most delicious food and beers and wines. Just a stones throw along the canal towards Chester (adults only though). We have enjoyed every minute of our stay.

Our week at Wharton Court has whizzed by so fast. we have loved staying at no. ... and found it very central for exploring Chester and North Wales. We have also enjoyed having a red button to enjoy Wimbledon (between the heavy downpours) to the maximum. Thank you Sandra and Graham, its been fab.

My friends and I stayed for a long weekend and had a great time. Apartment was easy to find and within easy reach of Chester centre. It was very clean, warm and tastefully decorated. 5 * star accommodation! We have recommended it to many already!

Loved every minute! a quality apartment immaculate and clean and wonderfully situated for Chester. Explored the area on the “hop on” “hop off” bus tour. ½ hour boat ride up the River Dee very informative and relaxing learned a lot about Chester. Walked the Roman Walls lovely views, Visited the beautiful park (forgot the name) that takes you down to the Groves (Lime tree avenue down by the Dee) and walked over the suspension bridge and towards  “The Meadows” lovely sunny weather to help enjoy the river walk . Visited the Museum and a few coffee shops too! Ate food from Marks and Spencer for supper. Will definitely be back!

Excellent apartment and good touches, there is nothing better than relaxing with a glass of wine and listening to the water and watching the canal boats we have no complaints and are already planning next years visit. Thoroughly deserved the recent 4 star rating.

We spent a wonderful week in the very elegant flat. Everything we needed was here all very comfortable and warm (we didn’t even need the heating in October!)
An added bonus was being able to enjoy a glass of wine on the balcony overlooking the canal.
